About SVAC Tirupati

Sri Venkateswara Arts College (popularly known as S.V Arts College, Tirupati) was established in the year 1945 with eighty students. It was one of the first colleges, who got affiliation to S.V University in the year 1954. In 2006, the college is awarded “Grade A” by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Currently, the college provides Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in six specializations and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in General & Computer Application and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) course in nine different specializations. It also offers Master of Science in Organic Chemistry and Master of Finance Management course. Currently, around three-thousand (3000) students are enrolled with the Sri Venakteswara Arts College.

The college has twenty-two well-equipped laboratories, a separate library with more than 80,000 reading volumes, a spacious playground, GYM and well-maintained hostel with three different blocks. It is a recognized center for research (Ph.D.) program.

The college presents in a peaceful place in tirupati with good ambiance and with greenary everywhere around.it contains good faculty with good experience and the faculty are vere friendly with everyone and very easy going .The staff supports the students in a good way

College Infrastructure My college provides us with all facilities. The food served in the mess is good. Our college provides us with facilities for sports like volleyball, basketball, cricket and table tennis. We get great support in upcoming seasons. Academics Our faculty members are helpful and supportive. They are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready for recruiting and hiring. The pass percentage of internal and external exams is 70%. Placements The placement percentage of our college is 90%. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, etc. Our college provides 100% internship opportunities for students. Pre-placement offer every week. Many companies visit our college to hire many students.

Andhra University released the seat allotment on their official website (pgcet-sche.aptonline.in/APPGCET/). Candidates who participated in the first round of AP PGCET counselling 2024 have been assigned seats. Students who were shortlisted and allocated seats in the AP PGCET Counselling Phase 1 had to report to their respective institutions between September 04 and 10, 2024. According to the official notification for AP PGCET 2024 Counselling, the second phase counselling registration will be done from September 17 to September 19, 2024. Some other important dates for the same are:

  • Online Certificate Verification: 18-09-2024 to 21-09-2024
  • Exercising of Web Options: 23-09-2024 to 25-09-2024
  • Change of Web Options: 26-09-2024
  • Allotment of Seats: 28-09-2024
