Sri Venkateswara Arts College (popularly known as S.V Arts College, Tirupati) was established in the year 1945 with eighty students. It was one of the first colleges, who got affiliation to S.V University in the year 1954. In 2006, the college is awarded “Grade A” by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Currently, the college provides Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in six specializations and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in General & Computer Application and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) course in nine different specializations. It also offers Master of Science in Organic Chemistry and Master of Finance Management course. Currently, around three-thousand (3000) students are enrolled with the Sri Venakteswara Arts College.
The college has twenty-two well-equipped laboratories, a separate library with more than 80,000 reading volumes, a spacious playground, GYM and well-maintained hostel with three different blocks. It is a recognized center for research (Ph.D.) program.
